O2 arena
Prague’s O2 arena hosts the largest and most important sporting events in the Czech Republic, welcoming over 600,000 spectators each year. This multi-functional venue can be transformed into an ice hockey arena, a concert hall or even an equestrian arena. In total, it offers up to 40 different configurations. The arena also has 66 skyboxes, 1,306 club seats and 3 party boxes.
At maximum capacity in its concert layout, the O2 arena can hold up to twenty thousand people.
The O2 universum – a multi-functional congress and cultural centre – was built in 2018 close to the O2 arena and will serve as a training venue during the championship. The third and most recent addition is the Stages Hotel Prague, offering accommodation “near the stars” in 300 uniquely designed, music-inspired rooms.
